PACTIS Legal is a confidential, technology-enabled law firm. We hire very few people, and only those who can genuinely carry high-stakes legal and regulatory matters at a senior standard. If that is you, we want to hear from you — precisely and seriously.

Who we hire

Every person here meets the same bar. There is no junior shortcut and no box-ticking.

  • Licensed or formally qualified

    Licensed Saudi lawyers (Ministry of Justice / Saudi Bar), licensed lawyers from other jurisdictions, or senior specialists holding a recognised professional qualification in their field.

  • Senior and proven

    A real, verifiable record of leading high-stakes matters end to end — not merely assisting on them. We hire no one with fewer than ten years of relevant experience, and we measure substance, not titles.

  • Fully bilingual

    Professional working proficiency in both Arabic and English — in drafting, advice, and negotiation. This is non-negotiable; the practice is bilingual by design.

  • Regulated-sector depth

    Experience in environments where complex contracts meet heightened regulatory scrutiny: governance, compliance, transactions, and cross-border work.

  • Confidential by instinct

    Able to hold privileged, sensitive matters to an institutional standard, and to pass conflict-of-interest and confidentiality vetting without exception.

  • Judgment over volume

    Selective work, senior attention, and ownership of outcomes. We are not a high-volume shop, and we do not hire for one.

  • Senior Legal Counsel

    Licensed lawyer · 12+ years PQE

    Leads mandates across corporate governance, strategic contracts and transactions, and regulatory matters, as a single point of senior accountability.

  • Legal Counsel

    Licensed lawyer · 10+ years PQE

    Carries substantive responsibility on high-stakes mandates under senior direction — drafting, analysis, and execution to an institutional standard.

  • Regulatory & Compliance Specialist

    10+ years

    Deep experience with Saudi regulators (e.g. CMA, SAMA, sector authorities): licensing, internal controls, and compliance frameworks for regulated clients.

  • Corporate Governance Advisor

    10+ years

    Board charters, delegations of authority, group restructuring, and disclosure — aligning structure with the Companies Law and Vision 2030 governance standards.

  • Contracts & Transactions Specialist

    10+ years

    Complex commercial, EPC, and M&A documentation and negotiation — enforceable instruments on high-value, time-critical deals.

  • Legal Technology & Operations

    10+ years

    Builds and runs the secure platform side of the practice: matter tracking, document integrity, and legal-engineering — at the intersection of law and modern tooling.

  • Of-Counsel / Specialist Consultant (by matter)

    15+ years

    Senior local and international experts engaged on specific mandates where a matter demands a particular depth of expertise.

What we look for

Credentials open the door. These decide it.

  • Matters you personally led — your role, the complexity, and the outcome.
  • Clear reasoning under pressure, ambiguity, and competing interests.
  • Precision in drafting and advice — in both Arabic and English.
  • Discretion, conflict-awareness, and an institutional sense of confidentiality.
  • A specific, substantiated reason for PACTIS Legal — not a mass application.
